Woodwind ExcursionNashua Symphony Orchestra Woodwind Quintet: April 11 Want more music? Rapport between artists and audience is at the heart of the chamber music experience. Be a part of it - and hear more! Our 2009-10 season includes chamber music concerts produced in collaboration with First Music Concert Series. These concerts feature NSO musicians performing at The First Church, 1 Concord St, Nashua (Directions). All concerts start at 3:00 pm. Tickets are available at the door or by reservation - call The First Church at (603) 882-4861. FANFARE 2010 a success!The Nashua Symphony Association Board of Trustees would like to thank all the patrons, volunteers, and donors who contributed to making Fanfare 2010 successful. With the help of our wonderful supporters in the community, we raised nearly $55,000 to help cover the costs of our concert and educational programs. THANK YOU! Holy Tuna!The Nashua Symphony Association's food drive to benefit the Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter collected Ð with the help of music students from NHS North, members of the Symphony Chorus, and our generous audience Ð nearly 450 cans of tuna!
In collaboration with the League of American Orchestras through "Orchestras Feeding America" our tuna drive was part of a national initiative taking place in all 50 states this spring. For information about other ways you can help the Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter, visit www.NSKS.org NSO Winds play for 5,000 studentsThe Nashua Symphony's Wind Quintet performed for an estimated 5,000 elementary students in the Nashua school district at the end of March, with the support of King's Daughters Benevolent Association and New Hampshire Charitable Foundation (Nashua Region).
