A LASTING PEACE. April 19, 2008 at 8:00 PM. Join the Nashua Symphony Chorus and Diane Cushing to explore peace - of the mind, body, and spirit - through words and music, including Randall Thompson's Peaceable Kingdom. MORE » A Lasting Peace is made possible by an American Masterpieces: NH Connections grant from the NH State Council on the Arts, supported by the National Endowment for the Arts, and by the Deluxe Corporation Foundation. The Ripple Effect project is generously funded by the Ella F. Anderson Trust and the NH Charitable Foundation, Nashua Region. Music Director searchThe NSA would like to thank all the audience and community members who contributed their feedback to our MUSIC DIRECTOR SEARCH Committee (if you haven't yet given us your "2-cents", visit our Music Director search page and send us your thoughts right away)! Following the performance led by Jonathan McPhee on March 15, the committee is hard at work determining which of our four outstanding finalists will lead the NSA beginning next season. Keep your eyes on our website for further updates and the eventual announcement. Reaching out

Springtime is here
Nash Soloist Fund: Help keep great soloists coming to Nashua!Last year, in honor of Maestro Royston Nash's retirement after 21 years at the helm of this wonderful organization, we introduced the ROYSTON NASH SOLOIST FUND dedicated to bringing exceptional artists to Nashua. As a result, the fund made possible the return of violinist Irina Muresanu to play Samuel Barber's Violin Concerto on March 15. Our community of donors makes this happen. Your gift makes this happen. Like most professional orchestras, ticket sales make up less than 30% of our revenue; the largest portion of the rest comes from contributions from caring individuals like you. Your support is essential to the success of this fund. Even a gift of $21 (that's just one dollar for each of Royston's extraordinary seasons with us) is a simple yet powerful way for the community to help keep Royston's legacy going - and the great soloists coming! I hope you will join me, and all your fellow music-lovers, in making a generous gift to the Royston Nash Soloist Fund. Thank you, |
