In addition to the children's and adult choruses, Rutter's score calls for two vocal soloists, and the NSA has engaged soprano Noune Karapetian and baritone Jimi James (pictured, left). Both may be familiar to New Hampshire audiences; James and Karapetian last sang together as Germont and Violetta in the Granite State Opera production of La Traviata in November of 2008.

Make a "perfect pitch"!

For musicians, the words "pitch" and "tone" go together. But we hope you won't pitch your old toner cartridges in the trash! Not only is it bad for the environment, but it's a lost opportunity to donate to the Nashua Symphony Association.

You see, Staples (the office supply store) will give us a $3 credit for EVERY TONER CARTRIDGE we bring them for recycling! It doesn't matter what kind of cartridge, how big or small, or what color ink - they will credit our account $3 for every one, and that helps us keep our costs down. So don't pitch that toner. Bring it by the NSA office or even to one of our concerts, and we'll make sure it gets to the right place. And thanks!
