Members of the NSA were interviewed on the local television program, 142 Main. You may be still be able to watch the interview by clicking here. "Hot topics" included the Symphony’s search for a new Music Director and the Symphony's innovative marketing efforts meant to reach new audiences.

Karla Lemon will interview on the Woody Woodland Show, AM 1590, on Thursday morning at 8:30 pm. Tune in!

Keep an eye on the Telegraph’s weekend magazine, the Encore. Our remaining three conducting finalists will be featured prior to their concerts. Get to know the candidates before our concerts (and then meet them in person at the Crowne Plaza Dessert Receptions held after the concerts)!

The Nashua Symphony Chorus has completed its fall tour!

Please give a warm welcome to Operations Manager, Nick Adams, who started with the Symphony at the end of September. Nick looks forward to meeting you in person at our next concert!

The NSA is excited to announce its receipt of a $12,800 grant from the NH State Council on the Arts for general operating expenses!

In Jeff Rapsis' Hippo Press review of our last concert, he noted that piano soloist Judith Gordon "took a very feline approach to [Ravel's G Major Concerto], bringing it to life with grace and style."

Reaching out

The second annual "Ripple Effect" project is underway. Professional composers are hard at work writing choral music using the poetry of students from Nashua High School North. The new pieces will be premiered by the Nashua Symphony Chorus during their April concert, A Lasting Peace.

Our next "Pizza Party Dress Rehearsal", begins at 1:30 pm on Saturday, October 20 at Elm Street Middle School. For just $5 per family member, kids and parents can learn more about the music and meet our guest conductor Karla Lemon - all while enjoying a slice of pizza! MORE »

We've enjoyed reading your feedback regarding conductor Jonathan Schiffman’s September performance with the NSO. It’s easy to submit your thoughts and we encourage you to do so, online or in the lobby after our concerts.

There are several fulfilling ways to get involved with the NSA from office assistance, to photography, to concert production... Read about some of these opportunities by visiting our volunteer page.
